Unreal Engine 5 on MacBook Pro

can anyone advise whether I can run unreal/unity and Adobe software on a MacBook and what spec I need? I work in XR and never used Mac before. Need as many ports as possible too..

Specs on Apple's products are readily available on the Apple website.


How many is "as many as I can get"? MacBooks have a limited number and kinds of ports. the exact number and type is in the specs for the model your choose. Is four USB-C enough?


Current models running Monterey OS are known to not work with certain hubs/docks. To be on the safe side, if you plan on using one, buy from Apple if available. You can search this site to get posts of hubs not working.
