iphone 13 insane French spelling when using predictive text

I have returned to iphone after 3 years with Samsung. The one thing android do better is the ability to check translations and chop and change between languages whilst at the same time offering 100% accurate French grammar and spelling. Exactly which imbecile at Apple has input the current offerings whilst using the French keyboard language option? This works accurately and seamlessly in android but not Apple. It’s not user error, I am bilingual, I have both English (UK) and French (France) keyboards / languages installed and have the spelling and predictive options set correctly so I don’t need a lesson in how to do that as I’ve been doing it for years in order to communicate in two different languages throughout the day. My issue is the shockingly incorrect spelling and grammar of the French keyboard predictive text. It cannot even spell simple regularly used words, let alone hyphenate them or apostrophe them in the correct place! I have to have the main language set to my native English but I have the French language loaded as my secondary language, along with the relevant keyboards. I am about to be forced to move back to Samsung if there’s no end in sight to this gaping issue. I can’t send messages in French which make me look like I have the intelligence of a 4 year old child! It’s mind blowing how bad this is. Has anyone found a fix or do I just move back to Samsung?
