column width in numbers

Each year I need to set up a new sheet with the same layout as the previous year's sheet. I can copy and paste the data and formats I need but I can't work out how to replicate the column widths in the new sheet. Is there an easy way to do this please?

The easiest way would be to duplicate the sheet, then remove the data you don't need.

Or save your document as a template via File > Save as Template ... Then File > New and choose the template you saved to start a new document.
