On my Music app on my iPhone 12 (IOS 15.4.1), when I click the "Edit" button in the top right corner, I am able to select the "TV and Movies" tab, but as soon as I click "Done," the tab disappears and I am unable to access the tab that I just selected to show. I have movies and TV shows downloaded and can view them in the Apple TV app, but I would prefer to view them all in the music app. How can I do this?

What you're seeing is accurate, these apps are different for playing content. Apple Music app is for music related items which can include music videos or interviews from artists in Apple Music but can't be used to play TV shows as an example. Any other movies would require the Apple TV app to play videos. If you want to use Apple Music and its features, you'll need a subscription. To be clear, you do not need an Apple Music subscription to watch your downloaded content in the Apple TV app.

Thank you! I actually do have movies and TV shows that I have bought from iTunes, but I cannot view them in the Apple Music app. I can only view them on the Apple TV app. Do I have to have an active Apple Music subscription to view my movies and TV shows in the Apple Music app?
