Lightning to HDMI cable not working anymore

Got a new iPhone, same model as my last yet my adapter doesn’t work with the new iPhone. Old one still works with the adapter perfect it’s not active but when using WiFi on it it works with no problem. My iPad, my sons iPad have no problem. My new iPhone from sprint won’t work.

Apple HDMI Adapter Not Working in ios 14 Prior to 14 my ipad would say “Not Charging” but pass through data the adapter to work well. Apple HDMI adapter works with iPad great, but lightening HDMI adapter doesn’t work with iPhone. Devices running latest iOS software. Apple HDMI to USB-C adapter to my iPad 10 works great for screen mirroring to TV. My Apple HDMI to lightening for my iPhone 13 yields nothing but a black screen on the TV. Any ideas?
