problem typing

Problem typing. Spacing does not work. It will start working when a frame appears. This just started happening after I added a new external keyboard for my MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Check your Accessibility preferences to make sure Full Keyboard Access is turned OFF.
