Restart and see if it stays that way. If so, try booting into Safe Mode: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 and see if the issue persists there.
Hi,
It is perfectly normal for the icon to be white when your mac is using Dark Mode. If you are in Light Mode then it will be black.
But I'm not in dark mode. All the other icons in the menu bar are black.
