Transferring a single picture between iPhone and Windows Laptop

When I select a picture on my iPhone there's the little up arrow with a box around it at the bottom left hand corner that allows me a number of options that I can do with the picture. one of them is not there which is too transfer the file to my laptop over Bluetooth which would be a great feature. Has anyone found an easy way to transfer files between their iPhone in their laptop without emailing it to themselves or storing it in drop box etc?

The sharing icon are the available options, plus external storage via camera kit or SD, and probably a few other paths.

Bluetooth is available for transfers too, so long as Bluetooth is enabled on both Windows and iPhone, and the iPhone is paired with Windows. You’ll usually need to specify the Bluetooth pairing code somewhere along in here, too. Once paired, you should now be able to transfer photos via Bluetooth, from within the iPhone Photos app. (I don’t have this combo to test, though it did show up in several DDG searches for Windows iPhone photos Bluetooth and similar searches.)

Using iCloud Photos is probably the easiest, as the photos are available to the Windows and iTunes from there. If you’re not going to import all your photos into iTunes on Windows.

As for your suggestion, Apple may or may not see that here, so best send it direct: Product Feedback - Apple
