Of course I have tried that--there are many other suggestions from others on forums. This Siri problems started again recently after IOS update 15.4, before that it was in remission. I believe the update before that, 15.3, I discovered, sent my Photos taken since the update to iCloud Photos, even though I had never set up iCloud or turned anything on. I discovered this because one suggestion of the numerous suggestions on various forums said that the Siri battery drain problem was solved when they turned Siri off in iCloud. When I signed in to iCloud, I saw the numerous things were turned on, including Siri, and there were 49 photos there since February 2. I had to go through numerous steps to shut off Siri in iCloud and disable Photos, and worry that it would delete the ones on my iPhone but I think they were already full resolution saved on my phone, but the explanation and warnings about this and how the settings work, are very confusing. I do not want everything interconnected where files can be downsized and/or deleted depending on what you do elsewhere. Also Siri usage has come down quite a bit--it went down to 1% in the last 24 hours, to now up to 12%, again, but this possiblly has to do with me having to readjust the settings in iCloud for a second time. Siri should be 0%.
I have another question. The first time I turned things off in iCloud, I signed out. When I went back to check on the issue about photos, I saw that most things I had turned off had been turned back on again, even a couple more things, which I had to turn off again. So that time I did not sign out of iCloud, just left everything turned off as it was. But I should be able to sign out and have things remain off shouldn't I? In other words, were they only turned on when I signed back in because of the default behavior? So the question is if I sign out of iCloud, does everything I turned off remain off? Trying to find this out as sort of like trying to find out if the refrigerator light really goes out when you close the door.
