Siri draining battery on iOS 16.1

Why (not used) Siri is draining battery on iOS 16.1?

Battery condition - 100%, brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max (bought 2 months ago).

It happened after upgrade to iOS 16.1.

Try turning off Siri’s background app refresh. I tried it this morning after a suggestion from Apple tech support. Go to settings/general/background app refresh and turn off Siri. It made a huge difference for me running iOS 16.1.1 on a new iPhone 14 Pro.

That's a fantastic question! From the screenshot you shared, it looks as though it was briefly used. during the timeframe you selected. If Siri was briefly accessed, even by accident, this could be why the you're seeing the usage. You can learn more about using Siri via the link below.
