Charging percentage
Why doesn’t my iPhone always show the charging percentage on the Lock Screen while it is charging? This screen is massive and it’s really frustrating when the basic information isn’t there
iPhone XS Max, iOS 15

This is a user-to-user forum; no one here can answer a question that begins “why”. What we can tell you is the screen of any phone with Face ID has no room in the status bar for the battery percentage, and the status bar is the only “variable” area on the lock screen. If you have the Control Center enabled on the lock screen you can open the control center to view the battery state of charge.

That is unfortunate considering the massive amount of unused space on the Lock Screen. You would think the relative information would readily be on display. I also thank it’s funny you said “no one here can answer a question that begins “why”, then answered my question
I don’t care about the status bar, is there a way to show both the date and the charge percentage at the same time on the Lock Screen?
As I said, NO.
