- Update both your Apple TV and your MacBook to the latest tvOS and macOS versions.
- Restart all three devices (MacBook, Apple TV, and your actual television).

- Your Apple TV and MacBook need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. If you have a router that gives the option for different bands, make sure they're on the same band as well.
- Set your settings to choose your Apple TV as the size as outlined in #3.
