Yamaha DGX-640 connect to MacBookPro M1 max

I can't get my DGX-640 to talk to my MacBook Pro M1. I've installed latest software/hardware from Yamaha, connected keyboard to computer using USB cable. The Yamaha is listed under USB in "about this Mac" but it does not show up in Audio Midi devices and sends nothing to Garage Band or Logic. I've gone round and round and round and round and got jowherde. Suggestions please....

Note 1: I already tested using the original keyboard cable + USB HUB, as well as I bought a new USB-B to USB-C cable, connecting directly to the Macbook and the result was the same. There was no difference. Note 2: In the installation guide of item 2, ask to confirm that the installation was successful if we have files in the folder: /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers/YAMAHA-USBMIDIDriver.plugin /Library/PreferencePanes/MIDI Drivers/YAMAHA-USBMIDIPatch.prefPane I checked and besides the installation report as successfully finished, the files are not in the folder.

Unable to Yamaha PSR E413 as a MIDI controller to Garage Band in Mac Book Pro M1 running Big Sur 11 I used to use a 2016 MacBook Pro and I ran my Yamaha PSR E413 into it through usb and was able to use it as a midi controller in Garage Band. I just got the new 2020 MacBook M1 running Big Sur and I can no longer figure out how to use my Yamaha PSR E413 as a midi controller in Garage Band. I installed the USB MIDI driver from https://usa.yamaha.com/support/updates/usb_midi_driver_for_mac.html and restarted the computer. But it just don't work. Looks like we will need a version for M1 chips. The current version of the software is compatible with macOS 10.15.x-10.5..x Has anyone else run into the problem of not being able to use their keyboard as a midi controller on the new Mac/macOS? Can anyone suggest any other MIDI Keyboards that will be compatible with new Mac Book Pro M1 Silicon Chips with Mac OS Big Sur 11.3. Need urgent help and suggestion.

emagic mt4 midi interface on a recent mac mini (intel) with 10.13 (or so...) hello, I just found my old emagic mt4 midi interface and would like to use it on recent macs (intel or m1 apple silicon). It does show up under USB devices but not in audio-midi-setup. Do I need a driver? I found an old driver called «UnitorMIDIDriver» but my M1 macbook Pro said, it's not necessary to install it. When I plug in the interface, the USB-LED flashes twice but then only «Patch» LED stays on. It also flashes MIDI-LED's as long as I play on the connected keyboard. Any ideas how I can get it to work with garage band or logic pro?
