iOS 15.4.1 ghost touch issue

Since upgrading to 15.4.1, my phone has developed ghost touch. WTF. Sometimes I cannot use Message at all.. random letters, screen swipes, sending trash messages to random people at supersonic speed - phone heats up quickly. Have never had this problem before now. Any real fix for this? Resets do not work.
