Can you reuse an email after deleting an account? I have read that once you request an email/ID be deleted by Apple, that email can never be used to create a new one again because they keep the purchase history. I currently have two emails and two Apple IDs, one under each. One ID has never been used to make a purchase. I want to delete that one, then move my other Apple ID to that email address. Does anyone know if that is possible after I have deleted it since it has never been used for a purchase?

Merge Apple IDs, as in close one and transfer to the other. After over a decade of giving us all Me.com and later iCloud.com emails is it really true that we still have not been giving the ability to close our old Apple ID accounts and transfer those purchases to our new accounts? My original Apple ID is an old work email and I want to close that account and transfer my considerable amount of purchased music, movies, etc., to my regular Apple ID and it seems that Apple still has not solved this for the thousands asking the same question. Is this truly the case?

Just change the email on your Apple ID, by going to appleid.apple.com where you can log in and make the update.
