I know you can’t really delete the podcast app. But it says it is taking up 17.89 GB of my 64 GB on my iPad. I have deleted all individual episodes listed. I don’t understand what could possibly be making it that big since I don’t ever remember using it on anything other than my phone. Can anyone help me shrink that/remove it/tell me what happened to make it so huge?

You can delete the app if you don’t use it. The podcast app has been deleteable for some time. Bear in mind also that content may be syncing across devices if you have Sync Library enabled in Settings. So even if you don’t use it on the iPad, all the content is still downloading there.
