I am unable to use my apple id funds to pay for apple music

Seems you should be able to use your Apple ID balance to pay for Apple Music ...

however it may not be available in all countries and regions.

When you press redeem ... that is for just for entering gift card information directly.

NB article also says at the bottom:

Am wondering if you found out why your payment was declined by the App Store.

(We are all Apple users, like yourself, in this community so have not access to your account or details.)
