back button in safari doesn't go back to same position on previous page
I know this was asked before but there was no solution or resolve posted. I have this exact issue on my iPhone 13. Is a fix being worked on? This is a pita!

The first thing we would suggest would be to power cycle the iPhone by pressing and holding the side button until "Power Off" appears. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. While simple, this can refresh the iOS, apps and connections. We would also suggest clearing the cache by tapping on Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
If the issue continues, try closing the app using these steps:
iPhone X and later
1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
2. Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.
