Is this an iPhone virus or another scam?

This popped up today with a countdown timer to try to scare me into loading what appears to be an app?

“Your Apple iPhone has been infected with 21 viruses after visiting an Adult website”.

I don’t go to those websites so wasn’t fooled. I saw this question was posed in 2021, someone had asked for more information, the thread was closed.

Anywhere you touched on original message wanted to take me out of my browser.

I tried to look up “privacy protector” on the AppStore, several have that name. I did not want to chance clicking the link to find out which one. If I had I would have left a review on the app warning others of their shady practices. Hope this information is helpful and maybe someone with more skill can put a target on their backs, maybe get AppStore to boot them out.
