Activate new phone after destroyed phone

Contact your carrier and sort out the cellular plan so that you have the same telephone number, and have any two-factor code sent to your number if that was configured.

If you have backups:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Get a SIM card from your carrier, follow the setup instructions on new phone’s screen, then restore the most recent backup of the old phone.
