Sonos unable to add my music to Mac studio computer

If you're following the steps provided by Sonos, make sure have your any enabled firewalls turned off. Ensure that Sonos has permission to your disk. You can change permissions to a disk by:

On your Mac, select a folder or disk, then choose File > Get Info.

If the lock at the bottom right is locked , click it to unlock the Get Info options, then enter an administrator name and password.

Click the Action pop-up menu , then choose “Apply to enclosed items.”

Are you having any other issues with the Mac?

We would try starting up the system in what is called safe mode and see if you can connect . This will help isolate this issue.

To start in safe mode, begin with the computer powered off. Follow the directions found here, depending on what type of Mac you have: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

The computer will take longer to start in safe mode, and the screen may have some distorted video as it starts up. This is normal. Once you are logged in, use the system and test to see if you can connect.

If everything seems to work as expected, go ahead and restart the computer normally and test again. Starting in safe mode forces the computer to run some disk checks similar to First Aid. This can resolve some issues.

These steps don't work. I went into system preferences/sharing/file sharing and added Sonos DMS. I unlocked the drive and subsequent folders to my music and allowed permissions..... what am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
