Cancel NY Times subscription

I sign in to my New York Times subscription using Apple ID, but it wasn't purchased through Apple. The NYT says I have to cancel through Apple, but I don't have the subscription through Apple.

My notices from NYT go to an apple.id email address that is forwarded to my regular email address.

How to proceed?

Good morning! I have spent the better part of an hour on this and figured it out. On the NYT page go to your account >email and settings and "connect" your apple ID. Once you do that, if you signed up like I did and I think you did, you will see all of your options under Subscription Overview with "Manage subscription" back.

Hope this helps!
