I’m not able to download any apps , and not even be able to upgrade the one si already have . It takes me to the settings and payment method and it requires me to add a debit card or credit card . I don’t wanna add one how can I ignore that option and just be able to download apps on my phone ?

You can not ignore that, you may need to have a payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free.
