logic pro time stretch within a take folder.

I play solo guitar, recorded a few takes into a take folder but some things are slightly out of tempo. Is there a way to cut a time stretch a take within the folder?

I can time stretch an audio track or use Flex Tool. But not within a take folder. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I suppose you'll have to flatten the folder before you are able to apply time-correcting algorithms. Not sure why this limitation still exists even. My guess would be it was kind of left over from earlier iterations of Logic due to some CPU or RAM considerations or what not. Or maybe it's the fact that once you start time-stretching a particular take, this affects all other takes, so it's not feasible or logical thing to allow time-corrections in take folders. But of course, more knowledgeable folks will correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers!

Thank you JotaGi! Great suggestion and great perspective into the history of this limitation.

Flattening the folder and then correct the timing is definitely a good workaround.

If you (or anyone else!) can come up with a solution to do this mid-way and before I flatten the folder I would be forever grateful. I do a few takes of the entire song and, of course, flattening comes very late in the process.

For now, I'll be taking notes (or setting markers?) to remember where to fix after flattening.
