Storage of JPEG+RAW photos; are they separate image files?

I'm new to dealing with RAW and storing the images on my iMac. I just imported a few hundred images from a photo card. They were shot in JPEG+RAW on my Leica. The photo card has two images per photo, with the same filename, but with separate suffixes of .jpg and .rwl. In Photos, the images appear with a little "JPEG + RAW" label in the upper right corner. However, when I click the "info" icon, only the jpeg filename and file size is shown. When I click on the album that I stored them all in Photos, the count and aggregate file sizes reflects only the jpegs. When I go to edit a photo, there is an option in Photos>Image>Use RAW as original, so I suspect that the RAW files are out there. I want to be confident that this is the case before erasing all the images from the photo card. A related question: Is there a way in Photos or Finder to see the filenames as a list, without the thumbnail images?
