iPhone X doesn’t allow me to swipe open the Lock Screen

I have a problem with my iPhone X, the ability to use the touch screen when the phone is locked suddenly stopped working.

other phone functions seem to be working. Although I cannot access any apps.

I have tried a reset down volume, up volume, hold the lock button until reset, but it doesn’t allow me to enter the pin code.

so the problem could be the touchscreen all together.

about 5 months ago, Apple replaced the battery, so not sure if it could be related.
