Why? You should always use it to keep a backup of your Mac.

Regardless, go to System Preferences > Time Machine > Select Disk, select your backup disk, and click "Remove Disk".

You can not remove Time Machine from the macOS. If you do not want to use Time Machine, then turn it off.
