Messages disconnected, but all the attachments are still taking up 2GB of space

Hi, I've disconnected Messages from my laptop because I'm trying to conserve space. But when I look at Storage I see that all the attachments from Messages remain on this laptop. I want to delete them, but only from this laptop, not completely in iCloud.

Does anyone have knowledge about this?

On the Mac from

>System Preferences>AppleID>iCloud uncheck Messages this will not sync your actions across devices

Sign out of Messages / disable on your Mac
