Clear Apple ID used airpod
I bought Airpods (3rd Gen) on Amazon used/like new condition. But it looks like they are associated with someone else’s Apple ID. Obviously I can’t call the previous owner and ask them to unpair it. What can I do?

You are correct. Sorry, I was thinking "AirTag." Yes, you would need to contact the previous owner to have them remove their Apple ID associated with these AirPods. Since you are unable to contact that owner, you will need to work with Amazon to return them and get a refund.

Yes but the previous “owner” has their Apple ID associated with it. I see this on the Apple Support:
“AirPods can be associated with one Apple ID. If you want to use AirPods (3rd generation) or AirPods Pro that someone else has used, they first need to remove the AirPods from their Apple ID.”
