how do you use a certificate? to encrypt email? and if apple email is already encrypted? what port? and settings should i have?

Apple has support documents called Sign or encrypt emails in Mail on Mac and Use S/MIME to send encrypted messages in an Exchange environment in iOS.


I also found this on an external site. These documents might answer your question.


I've not used encryption myself so if you report back we can both learn from your experience.
