I am trying to stream videos from my Macbook Pro onto my Apple TV 4th Gen on the browser but every time I connect the screen goes black with audio. It doesn't matter what browser I am using they all do it. It used to work perfectly fine but now for some reason it stopped. There were no hardware changes what so ever.

Disney+ says to support AirPlay from the Disney+ app on iOS devices. They don’t mention AirPlay from Macs.

You are advised to use the Netflix app and Disney+ app directly on the Apple TV box, without the need for AirPlay.
