How do I prevent my Mac Music App from launching when I finish a call on my iPhone

I have an iMac running macOS 12.3.1; and an iPhone 13 running v 15.4.1. I have a Jabra headset that is connected to both these devices via BlueTooth. I use it for zoom meetings on my iMac and calls on my phone. However, if I was listening to music before a call on my phone, when I end the call it launches Music on my computer and starts playing it. To make it worse, the sound comes through the speakers on the iMac and not through my Jabra. I presume this is one of those Continuity features that has gone haywire. How do I prevent this from happening?

Thanks

iMac 27″, macOS 12.3

Hi VCL001!

This is a feature called iCloud handoff, it resumes your activity through all your devices signed into iCloud. If you disable it, AirPods won’t automatically swap between your Apple Devices.

To disable handoff:

  • iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch: Go to Settings , then tap General > AirPlay & Handoff.
  • Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click General, then deselect “Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices.”

Tip: When Handoff is off, you cannot use Universal Clipboard to copy and paste text, images, photos, and videos across your devices.

Hope I Could Help!
