How do I unlock Mac book pro after I find it

I erased my MacBook when we thought my daughter lost it. Not it’s just a screen with a big lock and says enter password. When I enter my Mac password it does nothing

You have to use the same password that you locked it with. See this Apple Support document: If your Mac is lost or stolen - Apple Support. This is probably going to be your iCloud account.

After you locate your Mac, you can unlock it by entering the passcode that you created when you locked it with Find My.
If you can't remember that passcode, you have three options:
1. Sign in to iCloud.com/find, then select your Mac from the Devices menu. Select Unlock and follow the steps to verify your identity.
2. Unlock your Mac from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch using your device passcode.
3. Take your Mac to an Apple Authorized Service Provider along with your proof of purchase.

And there is a little grey note warning that you have limited time to do this:

You can look up your passcode for a limited time.
