Postings on this site suggest that a FaceTime video call uses about 400MB of data per hour. When I make an hour long FaceTime video call using a 2020 MacBook Air, it uses 3GB of Wi-Fi data. Why is this usage so high ? Couldn’t be something to do with satellite broadband ?
