Why is my new iPhone 13 pro max all of a sudden telling me the camera is not genuine Apple?

iPhone 12 Pro Max…. iPhone 12 Pro Max brand new out of the box and I get a “Unable to verify camera as genuine Apple camera” What’s up with that? Guy at Best Buy said it was a bug and to update the iOS and they did and now the camera works. Anyone have this issue? Message won’t go away either.

First try a Forced restart Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (UK)

If no better you should arrange a repair under warranty
