My iCloud account, name and apple ID have grayed out so I cannot view my account when I press on my name so how can I change that so I can press my account. The location of the button that is disabled is right underneath the search bar in settings.

You may have Screen Time Restrictions set to ON.
Open Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ Account Changes : Set this to ALLOW
