Price is not an indicator of anything. A crook will sell a fake for the same price as a new one to avoid arousing suspicion.

Unless you've jailbroken your phone, it most definitely does not have a virus.

Test these two things. Can you use Siri? Can you connect to the App Store? The latter especially can only be done with a genuine Apple device. I you find yourself at Google's Play store after tapping the App Store icon (or nowhere at all), it's a Android phone made to look like an iPhone.

Hey there, Adhikarycr561.

I am William, and I am here to help.

To check if your iPhone is fake, go to the Phone app and dial this: #*06#

Then your iPhone's IMEI and MEID will pop up. This code is unique to your iPhone and cannot be identified as one another.

Another method is to go to Settings/General/About and check the Serial Number. This number is also unique to your iPhone and cannot be identified as one another.

If your IMEI/MEID did NOT pop up, please go call 1-800-MY-APPLE or go to an Apple Store and identify your iPhone with a Genius.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,

William

People may have been telling you that you ordered a fake iPhone by identifying the physical appearance. Check pictures of the real iPhone and see if this one is different.

You can also identify by checking where you bought it. If you bought it off of the Apple Store, no worries. If you bought it from Amazon or eBay or Wish, there's a chance you might be dealing with a dealer that's not Apple (for example, a fake dealer's store might be named Official iPhones Cheap. That is not the Official Apple Store.)

Another way is to identify the price. Check the original price of the iPhone. If that matches the price you bought it, then it might be fine.
