Problems getting on to Apple News app with new phone

I upgraded to a new iPhone and now my Apple News says it is not connected to the internet although Inhave checked all of my settings and certainly am. I deleted the app and reloaded it and still saying not connected to the internet, and to go online. Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice. As a result I checked my Norton Security settings. Forgot to do that when I upgraded so had to reinstall it. Everything is working great now

  • Is the Internet working properly elsewhere on your iPhone?
  • Do you have any Screen Time restrictions or a profile installed in Settings  > General > Profiles & Device Management?
  • Have you tested on another network or cellular data?
