Use Xbox 360 to connect to Display via HDMI

I have rented a USB-C connector with an HDMI port and I wanted to use it to play my Xbox 360 on my MacBook Pro display. It's connected and everything, but I don't see an option to use my display. I was wondering if this was just one day for the HDMI-out and if there was an option for HDMI-in?

No that's not how that works. You can't just force an HDMI signal into your Mac. You want to get a capture card. Have a look here: https://9to5mac.com/2017/08/12/how-to-play-nintendo-switch-consoles-imac-display-video/ (They mention the HD60S in the article, you should only get HD60S+ or better, the HD60S isn't compatible with M1 Macs).
