Missing TV Show Artwork on TV app on Mac

For some reason, at lot of my purchased tv shows are not presenting the tv show artwork on my Mac! Instead, it either shows me a grey shape with a tv logo inside or a screenshot from the first episode on the list. You can see one of the issues in the photo provided. First has anyone been having this issue. Also, is there anyway to fix it? Is this type of thing supposed to be happening (I don't think so)? This has been going on with me for over a year and nothing has changed! I have already done the following things:

Created another user account

Put the computer in safe mode

Restarted the computer

Logged in and out of my Apple ID form the TV app

Deleted/hid a few of those shows, then added them back into my library

Ran a diagnostic

Deleted everything off the computer (which worked for a little while, but it then just happened again)

Turned the wifi on and off again from my computer!

I have even tried calling Apple support. Each time I call, they mostly just say that "if the show still works, we don't know what else to do."

I know this isn't really an issue to get upset about, but there must be something I can do to fix it!

That images seems to show the Recently Added page for the library of the TV app. What am I looking at in the image specifically? What did you expect instead? What is not working as expected?

All artwork in the current version TV app is shown in a 16:9 frame. Mismatched image sizes will get contextual filler on the edges automatically to make it 16:9.

iTunes Store purchases are supposed to show the official artwork, as included by the supplying studio. It is not meant to be user-editable.

TV shows are supposed to show the artwork for the show as a whole, which may match the latest season. Seasons are supposed to show the artwork for the season. Individual episodes are supposed to show a chosen frame from that episode.

I understood you, OP; annoyingly, I've been having the same issue. (See image)

You can see that Cagney & Lacey and The Champions are working correctly, while Columbo is using a screengrab from the first episode and Desperate Housewives has just given up, lol

I haven't actively tried to fix this as I suspected that maybe it's a caching issue / temporarily glitch. Sure enough, some shows have righted themselves (at least for the moment) but I have a number of shows that are doing one of these two errors - currently 10 show the ugly 'no artwork' pane, which looks really rubbish. The fact we can't fix this our end, by doing either "Get Artwork" or assigning poster art ourselves, is frustrating.

I suspect there's no fix for this that we can do and we'll just have to wait but I'd love to be wrong...

I honestly don’t really understand what you are saying! I know the difference between show artwork and episode artwork! What I am expecting to see is the artwork for the season as a whole rather than a individual episode art when viewing the grid! I know its not supposed to be like this (I think) because I used to be able to view the artwork for the season(s) rather than just a frame from the episode!
