itunes recognizes my ipod but wont let me move music files if have loaded from cds to my ipod

thanks for the reply. I did sync it and it was working fine then stopped. So I gave up for the day a a couple of hours and retried again a couple hours ago and everything work fine. My computer did do a little maintenance when it started up, so I am thinking it was more like a computer issue because it is working great right now. thank you so mch
