Why is iPhone 13 Pro Max sending only green text messages to others I know have iPhones? I've turned iPhone on & off, checked internet connection is working. Messages to my partner (also iPhone 13 Pro Max) on same internet connection also receives (and sends to me) only green messages? This has only occurred recently since returning from abroad where we used Travel e-sims. Could that be a factor?
Both of you have to make sure that the iMessage option in Settings>Messages is turned on. It could be due to your e-sims, but you should be able to turn it on again.
Thank you - I forgot to say earlier that we have checked that. We also turned iMessages off and turned iPhone off & on (and iMessage) again as advised elsewhere. This did not solve the puzzle!
