Troubleshooting Phone Number and Messaging Setup:

Try Resetting your Apple ID Password:

  1. Go Here: Add or Remove your Phone Number in Messages or FaceTime - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: the very bottom
  3. As it Reads: "If you still need help, change your Apple ID password and repeat the setup steps. If that doesn't work, contact Apple Support."

Are you using a dual SIM (or eSIM) setup? Otherwise, there should be no reason for multiple telephone numbers. Each Apple ID is associated with exactly one person.

If you’re using a dual setup, then only the telephone number(s) shown under Settings > FaceTime > You can be reached by FaceTime at - are eligible to receive FaceTime calls.
