i went on my notes and half of them were gone so i shut my phone off and back on and then my notes were still gone plus all of my contacts were gone except for maybe 6 or 7. now i have my notes but they’re ones i had like months ago like none of my notes are updated and i don’t have my contacts so what do i do

Sync Through iCloud:
I haven't come across the problem, nor seen any report on these forums yet. So, be certain you are signed into the same Apple ID in Systems Preferences or Settings, on all your devices (Mac or iPhone, respectively). Then, enable Calendar and Notes in iCloud. It may take some time, if loads of data has yet to sync.
