I am trying to get music from iPhone to my iPod. How do I do that.

If all your music is purchased from the iTunes Store, sign into your store account from your iPod and download the music directly from the store.


However, if you have music that you have obtained from elsewhere (the online store, such as Amazon or Bandcamp for example), or from your own CDs, you need to use iTunes. Have you installed iTunes on your computer? If not, then go to this link to download and install it: iTunes - Apple. On that page you have a choice:

    • get the version from the Microsoft Store - (the Get it from Microsoft button). This version updates automatically
    • scroll down the page to Looking for other versions: Windows. This version needs to be updated manually (you fetch the update)


Either version is suitable. Once you have iTunes on your computer and you have added your music to it, go to the following linked page for help in adding music to your iPod: Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support
