Re-analyze Cloud Status in Cloud Library

I'm a user of Apple Music along with Itunes Match. I used to have most of the songs in my Apple Library as "matched". After an Apple failure to sync for Cloud Library users in July/August 2021 and updating my library, I now have a lot of songs as "updloaded" that I previously had as "matched". I've even tried ripping the same CD and today it matches perfectly (same ALAC codec, same bitrate). I don't want to rip all my CDs again. If I do File/Library/Update Cloud Library, nothing happens. I've already tried turning Sync Library off and on, update Genius, Log in/Log out account, force quit without success... Is there any way to analyze Cloud Status again my library without losing those songs in my almost 200 playlists?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

One option is to delete the uploaded version then readd from your backup. There is no guarantee that the tracks will match. I had this problem, some tracks matched again but others didn’t (those tracks were no longer available. The disadvantage is that you lose play count and have a new add date.

An alternative is to delete the tracks from your iOS device. Make sure that the tracks have been downloaded in your library on your computer. The iCloud status for such tracks will now be “Removed “. You should now select them and choose add to library. Previous metadata should be kept. Again no guarantee that the will match.
