Gapless playback between tracks that should transition without a gap
Hello all,
it seems it’s a reoccurring issue over the years that ITunes inserts a ‘microgap’ between songs which should change track without a gap.
An example I give to this is a concert CD which has continuous sound (with perhaps applause between the change of tracks) but is divided by track numbers.
Having imported CD’s and more recently downloaded an album from iTunes itself, this ‘micro gap’ still occurs between track numbers. Not all the time but it’s ruining my listening experience.
I did my bit for the cause a few years ago by calling Apple support and spending probably an hour or so trying to resolve but couldn’t but oddly enough the next iOS upgrade fixed the fault.
I see and find this fault is back and just wonder with Apple priding itself on music and many millions using Apple’s platforms why it’s so few people complaining about?
I know it’s not just me this time or the last but why is it me and the others on forums that suffer from this problem?
My Apple tech is recent and updated and not something Apple doesn’t support anymore…
