Keynote Presentor Mode work-around

Is there a way to resize the desktop real-estate used by Keynote Presenter mode so as to use a third monitor to view and use other applications. I hope the Keynote developers are not satisfied with their previous response to this, apparently common, need for Keynote to not take over all desktop real-estate and allow for access to other apps and/or controls.

Anyone know a work-around?
