M1 Macbook Pro Dual Monitors

I have a Macbook pro 13" M1 chip (2019 version I believe) that has 2 thunderbolt ports. I'm wondering if I use 2 of the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapters (1 in each thunderbolt port) can I attach 2 external monitors? 1 connected to each adapter?

The M1 Mac supports a single external display.

From the specs:

"Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at millions of colors and:

  • One external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz"

You can, but there may be some limits on the resolution.

Two really excellent adapters are:

the thing that makes them especially good is if you have a USB-C charger for the Macbook.

I'm not sure how it would work with the models using Magsafe 3.
