When I choose "Apple Pay" in my wallet on iPhone it shows up as separate from the Barclay card.
On my MacBook Systems> "Wallet and Apple Pay" the default Apple Pay shows up as a Barclay card.

Apple Pay is the payment system. You can add your cards to Apple Pay. Sounds like you set your Barclay card as the default card to be presented when you choose Apple Pay.
